This is my first post. I have been struggling with anxiety fairly recently, maybe since July, but it has gotten worse in the last several weeks. I have at least 1 sleepless night each week and a few days each week where I am so anxious I seem to vibrate. Also, I have horrible thoughts and feel as if a disaster is eminent. I know my child and dog sense it and respond to my energy. I feel as if I am losing my mind and that everyone knows it and how worthless I am at times. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I don't have any answers, just wanted to let you know you aren't alone. Have you heard of Yoga Nidra? It's a practice of full body relaxation which - at least for me - works a little too well. I fall asleep almost every time I listen to one, no matter what time of day it is:) That might be something to try out on one of your sleepless nights
