Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hello, to all old freinds and those new ones. Been a while since i posted and wanted to reach out and send my best and hope all are keeping safe and well, during these uncertain and scary times, especailly those who suffer and struggle with Anxiety like myself. It is a daily channlege to cope and deal with this condition, but as i say one day at a time and try and keep focused and with good and positive energy and thoughts, as best as possible. Being able to know what it is that makes you anxious, fearful and panicy, is i say three quarter the battle. Although hard at times, from my own personal experice, it's trying to keep you mind from over thinking and anticipating bad thoughts and many times those bad thoughts and fears never happen. Whatever it is that makes you feel more at peace and gives your pleasure, focus on that, whether it's listening to music, walking, going to the gym, watching movies, reading, doing yoga, meditating or whatever else, keep doing that, as a great way of diversion, and keeping the mind and body which works hand and hand as calm as possible.
Rember the mind is a powerful organ that controls all that we think, feel, sleep and function. A more clearn and peaceful mind, makes for a good mind and body connection. Not everything can be solved by a pill, and there is no magic wand or bullet, to make all Go Puff the Magic Dragon, Go away. You are in control.Keep this thought, with Anxiety, when you feel it's coming on or your experiences it, play this game that works and worked for me, Don't let it take up space in your head, and come through your front Door, You defeat it before.
Keep the faith and keep good thouhts.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Bees are among the critters we keep on our farm. Still processing the Fall harvest.
Hope all are having a good day.
Staying focused and staying positive is a must. We all need to practice that. I agree with you knowing what makes you anxious is half the battle. I know with me mine is freeway driving and flying. Well I've been hitting the freeway anyway. Challenging my fears. But flying I won't do. Not a good time anyway to fly. Love to walk, movies, reading, yoga is a must and meditate too.
You have some great advice. Thank you for sharing it to all of us. It makes a lot of sense. Italianmomma4ever
Yes agree 100%, keeping focused and positive is very important, when dealing with Anxiety, and we all should practice that.
I have found that knowing what your triggers are that make you anxious is more then half the battle.
We all have our Triggers that give us Anxiety and the way to keeping that demon away as much as possible to challenge yourself, chip away little bit at a time, to overcome your fears, you
have. For you it's driving on the freeway, and flying, now your hitting that freeway and chipping away little bit here and little bit there, Good for you! Keep it Up! Flying have done in the past, had one bad Anxiety attack, first time flying, now with everything going on, No way! Plus i don't like the feeling of being closed in, never did and don't like heights, even 5 steps up on a ladder, feels like i'm getting dizzy, like long lines in stores, can't wait to get out.
Thank you for your nice comment on my advise, much appreciated and whatever i can share that helps someone it's my pleasure.

Thanks for reaching out, to my post and glad to hear your staying focused and positive, both are a must, i agree 100% Yes knowing what triggers your Anxiety is the start, to feeling better, getting things more under control and all around better mental health.
Good for you, you know what your triggers are and now you taking that first step to conquer your Anxiety, with freeway driving and hope things keep improving and keep up huddling over those barriers.

The specific treatment approach depends on the type of anxiety disorder and its severity. But in general, most anxiety disorders are treated with therapy, medication, or some combination of the two

Yes agreed, keeping focused and staying positive is key, to having good and balanced mental health. Absolutely knowing what your triggers are that causes your Anxiety is to me like three quarter the battle. The next quarter, is working on your coping skills, to keep it at Bay as much as possible. I have a good friend who also suffers from Anxiety, the main issues are with freeway driving and flying, so you both very similar, and both now tackling freeway driving, a little at a time. BTW, do you live in California?
Again if you can realize what causes your Anxiety, i do believe it can be conquered with the right and proper therapy and medication, single or a cobination in due time, all according what kind you suffer from and how severe it is. If you want to get better and want that bad enough only through hard work and determination, and not with negativity, Woooo is me / Boo Hoo and wanting a pity party or seeking a magic bullet, one can conquer that hurdle, to feeling better.
Thank you for the link.

Actions speak louder then words, and surely just complaining and doing nothing about it. If you want positive change, then as i say Get of your Dime! and do it and stop waiting foe a magic wand or bullet!
