Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hi there. There is so much going on im going to start dealing with my anxiety and life again as i didnt do well in the past. i just stopped living pretty much. now im trying to make up for it. my attitude was not good. So im taking up new things like reading, and getting stuff done, helping people, writing letters, gonna start exercising more, eat better, talking to people, movies, etc...try to get into a sleep rythym without meds. i feel though like this is hard. i was just switched from cymbalta to two different meds, pristiq and latuda, not sure if they are working yet but sometimes i feel worse? i know i have anxiety disorder but i might have bipolar not sure cuz of other symptoms? cuz i have voices in my head like other people telling me what to do sometimes and images, sometimes i am afraid of and worried about evil spirits etc. and like anyways i believe they are real but i believe in Jesus. i do things impulsively a lot, but i dont think its extreme. im not suicidal, but have had those thoughts before, and went to inpatient for a week because of it. it really depends on the day. my moods change a lot. it was a good day today i hung out with my mom and got a lot of stuff done and talked to her, i realized there is a lot of stuff going on. i quit my job and i might take a leave of absence from my other job substituting so i can look for a full time job and just relax and keep doing the things im doing. might try meditation as well. i just dont feel like it at times. i know i have ptsd and am trying to face that and be like Fuck you ptsd. it comes from multiple things. another thing i have been doing is support group called celebrate recovery. and yeah i realized i have unresolved grief and negative feelings toward ex boyfriends and loved ones that died. gotta get thru it. on top of that i am worried i could be addicted to klonopin (my prn)... as i was on xanax for almost a year and switched to klonopin. i relied on them a lot and used to mix the xanax and alcohol (not on purpose just wanted to drown out my mind and not deal with it while i was away at college. now Im trying not to drink alcohol (occasionally?) or take klonopin unless i really need it. not going off it cold turkey though. Thoughts? also very hard to get out of house sometimes.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
