I really don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about things anymore. I find myself doing things simply to do them but not because I feel any joy doing it. I go to the gym because I know I should but not necessarily because its good for me or that I feel good afterwards and that’s just one example. I find myself just being afraid. Scared to live again and scared to hope and dream again. My last instance of being exceptionally hopeful and optimistic left me feeling barren and scares me into not wanting to believe in anything anymore. I was watching Shawshank Redemption the other day and Tim Robbins’ character mentioned that you either get busy living or get busy dying, and I am certainly doing the latter. I’m simply afraid to hope that things will get better, afraid to hope that I will climb out, afraid to hope that I won’t feel alone all the time despite being surround by people, afraid to hope that I’ll beat depression and my negativity. Afraid to hope, but more so afraid to live again, to believe again.

sigh. . .
here's to finding the courage to take a risk.
p.s. i love shawshank redemption. even red had some good things to say about hope by the end of the movie.
When you are writing it out, you're releasing all of the words, and that helps make it easier the next time you 'do thinking'.
Get up, get moving, and keep on moving.
