Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

MOST of anxiety is caused by several things. A big part or most of it (I'm speaking from experience and extensive research) is from a poor diet and we become nutrient deficient.......mostly magnesium, potassium, and Omega 3 deficient. First off food is different from 100 years ago. There is all kinds of gmo's, toxins, and missing essential minerals that when depleted cause anxiety and a host of other issues.
PPL NEED 4,700 mgs of potassium DAILY. It must be balanced with sodium (Himalayan or sea salt). Also magnesium is another HUGE deficiency as our soil is depleted of it.....big time.
The American diet consists of fast food and prepackaged food which have zero.....zip.....nada.....no nutrients....plus they add toxins as preservatives.....and they add fortified vitamins which are fake and worhtless.
The doctors are not versed in nutrition and send you to a dietitian to sort it out. They only do blood test that the insurance companies allow them to do. You have to ASK for a B12 blood test. The doctors tell you that your acid reflux is due to too much acid when in fact 80% of the population doesn't have enough so they prescribe Prilosec and other such meds to cut the acid....hence depleting you further of stomach acid. You HAVE to have a certain amount of acid (HCA) in your stomach in order to absorb the vitamins and clean and break down your food.
You might not think this pertains to having anxiety/panic attacks/ and yes.....insomnia and racing thoughts.....but it does. It actually plays a HUGE part in your total well being and not just physical.
Google what foods contain potassium and magnesium. Are you eating any of those foods? Are you eating enough to keep your levels where they should be?
Talk to your doctor. Mine was not interested unless it was a script.....so that is when I ventured out into natural supplements (not from Walgreens or Walmart as they are synthetic).
I'm not a doctor nor can I cure you, but I am going off my own experience.
Trust me....I had 5 decades of anxiety and panic attacks which led me to what I know today. I am still learning and have taken the past 2 years to heal and I have about 3 more to go. I am feeling better all the time. It took about 3 months before I could tell a big difference. It takes time to heal decades of poor diet and self abuse to the body.
If you have 25% of your liver left......it will heal itself.
The only time I have anxiety is if I don't have enough potassium or magnesium that day. I have to work at it and stay on top of it.
I also exercise and stretch about 4-5 times a week. I keep hydrated.
I turn off negative media and only hang with positive peeps. I'm careful who I let in my life.....that includes relatives!
I do deep breathing. I have spent 28 years working through horrible childhood abuse, gang rape, death of my brother/my best friend, ritual abuse, and a host of other issues through hospitalization and extensive therapies.
There is healing when you make it to the other side.
There are days I thought I wouldn't make it. I even attempted suicide to end the pain and "learned helplessness".
I refuse to be a slave to pharma who seems to have no cure. I'm a die hard after the cure. This is just me tho.
I do recommend you talk to your doctor and if you are not satisfied, you have the right to find a doctor who is interested and knowledgeable in natural/organic paths to health.
If you think it is too expensive, take a good look at your monthly insurance premium. Look at your co pays for doctors and meds.......and whatever other expenses your insurance doesn't pay......also the deductible.
How bout all the missed days at work so you could sit in a doctors filled office for hours for a 15 minute visit?
Then there is the side effects of the medicines or the doctor who doesn't know what to do, so they send you off to a "specialist".
I didn't think I could afford a healthy lifestyle, but am actually impressed at all the money I save from NOT going to my doctor becuz I am healthier goes towards good quality food and supplements that don't have harmful side effects.
This is my shiny nickels worth. You have to put in the work, but it is well worth it. It is a process and takes time. Even pharma meds take time to work......or not.
Wishing everyone well being :)
I’m here if you ever want to talk. Sometimes just talks my to someone will make a world of difference. It won’t take all your problems away but it will help clear your mind so you can think more clearly and sometimes with anixity we feel like we’re drowning, like every little thing that can go wrong will go wrong, but when you talk it all out it honestly helps.
