Learning the difference between a physical reaction to anxiety and that to a different event takes practice, patience, and time.
I had to keep a journal to help me sort through the symptoms, since I didn't want to be on any more medication for any longer than I absolutely have to.

But I think now it's caused by the physical symptoms. But I also think I attribute more thought and worry to physical symptoms that previous to my anxiety attack I wouldn't have thought twice about.
Now if I get indigestion I'm fighting with myself if it's indigestion, a heart attack, or anxiety. Therefore creating panic. And simply put, it's the fear of the next attack. I have gotten better with rationalizing with myself and it does help. Positive self talk helps me quite a bit.
It is hard and scary but not impossible to get over this. Just know
