Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Is there something wrong with me? I don't have any dating experience, I have never been kissed and I'm a virgin. I'm trying to do online dating and meet people but I just feel like I'm a loser. I spent my years in school prioritizing my education and didn't spend time dating. Now I feel like people will see my lack of dating and sexual experience as a red flag and won't want to date me. Is 27 years old too old? Am I doomed to be alone for the rest of my life? What should I do?

As for dating I'm no help there. I dated once in high school and I'm 46 now and never dated again for very complicated reasons I'm still trying to figure out.
There is nothing wrong with you and you are not a loser. You're totally normal. Don't make yourself crazy over this. :)
I lost my virginity with a boyfriend who was also a virgin. We were very much in love, in a months long relationship at the time we did it, and we had plans to get married. I am glad that I waited for him, and that I have that very special memory. (Oh and by the way, we ended up breaking up a year later and going our separate ways, so.... you just never know how life will turn out).
Don't force it. As posted above, nothing at all wrong with you! To be honest, I think most men would like to meet a virgin.... so, be careful who you end up sleeping with. Make sure that they truly care about you and want a relationship, and that they plan to stick around. For me, it was a great experience because I was in love when it happened, and we were in a committed relationship with plans to marry. I hope that you will wait for that special someone also. You will find them.
Take your time dating. When you meet that special guy, you will just know, and it will be all that much more meaningful to you. There's no rush. 27 is young. Good luck!
But none of that means you are destined to spend your life alone. You may just need a different or wider dating pool.
And when on a date, try focusing on what you think of the person sitting across from you instead of what that person thinks of you. After all, if you don't find them romantically/sexually interesting for whatever reason, what they think of you is moot. They are not in your driver's seat, you are!
Writing it out helps you to release what's creating anxiety overwhelming moments.
Rather than keeping this on the front burner, try taking a moment and educate your feelings through practicing just being social even to yourself. This will help you to figure out what you want to do for fun and brings smiles naturally.
You got this!
Start trying to meet people in different situations. Looks have some importance so get a nice outfit etc, but obviously do things that make you feel comfortable. (there are limits, picked up my niece from the hair stylist, I knew things cost, but was surprised that highlights, etc cost $525, not suggesting that). Again, please don't go to men's apartments, etc until you know them reasonably well.
Just as it took some expertise in your educational area, it will take some time in the dating area. Most men though would not regard your background as negative, and be careful not to be self-critical.
I will suggest you keep that fact to yourself and let the persona find out on their own when the time comes for you to be ready and share in a more serious tone for yourself.
Other than that, you come off as deliberately crying for attention in a boastful way to some sense... Find yourself some kind of support group to share how you truly feel at face value to ensure you get what you want out of your RANT.
It's good for you to be as you are, the fact it's even healthy for you to remain abstinent, but like I say, it's a personal matter and sounds imprudent to bring up as a light topic...
Personal counceling for a more serious outcome is Awesome too!!
