Anemia Support Group
Anemia (or anaemia), which literally means "without blood," is a deficiency of red blood cells and/or hemoglobin. This results in a reduced ability of blood to transfer oxygen to the tissues, and this causes hypoxia; since all human cells depend on oxygen for survival, varying degrees of anemia can have a wide range of clinical consequences.

I have chronic pancreatitis and anemia is just one of my added little bonus'! Lol. You should never go anywhere alone when you feel there is even the slightest risk you may pass out! I have passed out so many times it's old hat for me now. I stay in or have some one accompany me on outings, they drive of course. I have gotten some pretty good injuries blacking out. Please be careful and I'm sorry no one has responded to you sooner. Please see a dr or go to a clinic and at the very least take iron supplements. Sometimes the anemia is a warning sign to something more that can be nipped in the bud early so don't procrastinate, please! You don't want to spiral into something you can't untwist from, especially if it could have been prevented. Hope this helps you Kyshia. Luv &hugs, heather
