can you guys get out for a short ride every day...we try to do that...it helps...
Ron likes to be entertained...but as I said to someone I'm just not up to being a lido deck entertainer!
If my wife is any indication, it will get better.
Thats how we can really help them:) Remember its anonymous!!!!! Has to be.
how about a line of T shirts and maybe cards with quotes from the book to send ti 'sisters'...ok i'm so excited i'm ahead of myself, chapter first, but damn it feels good to think about these things!
We would walk the dogs, go to the mall and walk and I'd have her exercising with me.... damn.... I'd have her so tired she couldn't move.
My mom refuses to move her butt off her chair, staring at the tv all day long. She never was active and is darn pleased with herself just sitting now. I am sucked into this because if I can't get her up and out, neither do I get out. I was always active and not am inside, home, listening to her tv with the only activity focused around meals. Ah, I miss my life.
What can we say? At least we have friends and support here!
Hope you are better today.
Now I'm having reflective days.
Does Alzheimer's ever leave us ?
Judy, I suspect that no ALZ will always be a little shadow in our lives.
Wow, pity party today! Grumpy me was yesterday! So glad we are all here together. I'm normal!
as the neuropsychologist who was testing Ron back in 06 said to me
'If you weren't depressed you'd be crazy!"....
I have felt this was one of the kindest things ever said to me in this funny life/mess by a medical person.....
I've been dealing with plans for in case of emergency for my mom and realizing if you have money life flows and if you don't, yet don't quite qualify for Medicaid, you are stuck with no help for anything. I am paying the price for my parents financial disaster when my dad's Alzheimer's was really bad and he spent all their money. I've gained 7 pounds - I was fat enough, this is terrible. The condo insurance went up 55%. The property value went down yet taxes increased. Maria Shriver articles are driving me crazy. Mom is constipated. The cat hair is taking over the house. Grump Grump.
