Deborah Thank you so much for posting. I am happy to hear you have a new life. You were so good to your husband and you deserve to be happy again.

Three years..wow how does time go so fast? My dad passed away two years ago this month. And earlier this month I had to place mom in a memory care assisted living. It is a wonderful place and she is starting to settle in.

It is nice to hear from you and even nicer to know that there is a bright light on the other side of this tunnel. Be well and be happy.

We are into our 13th year since diagnosis and I wonder whether there really will be a bright side at the end of this journey. I may be too old to enjoy anything then!

Hi Deborah, good to see you again and to hear you are doing well. Neal passed away on Valentine's Day so now i am starting a new journey.

Glad to hear you are doing well, Deborah. Sometimes it all seems like a blur when looking back doesn't it ?

Hi everyone,
It will be 4 years since my Carl passed away. sometimes seems longer and sometimes like it was yesterday. I am still trying to make sense out of everything but I'm sure in time it will come together.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news with you that our dear friend Dibbie has passed away 9 months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had remarried a wonderful man whom I met and they had 3 great years together. She passed away on April 29th I believe.
She was a fantastic person and a great support to all of us when we needed it most. I think we had the best group ever on here.
I hope you are all doing well. I will check back in from time to time.

I don't know if any of you remember me but I used to be on this board with Deb, Georgia, Judy, Tigg, Sharon, Tigg and so many others. What a great group we were! This board made my life with my mother easier and brought me so much understanding of what we were and are dealing with.
Mother passed away 2 weeks ago after spending her last year in memory care. She is at peace now and so am I. Toughest road I've ever traveled and now I'm trying to get a life of my own once again. So far, so good. There is a real life after all this after all.
