I just realised that when you put down the glass, you realise that there's so much to do. Like just cleaning your house and re-decorating, that scent really feel that void. Just sitting in a clean house. With no smell of alcohol. Scintillating feeling I must say.

I can't tell you how many times I would pass out drunk, having not showered for days, on the laundry piles on my bed before.
Mind you, the piles are a lot smaller these days as the kids do their own laundry. But I never really seemed to be able to accomplish the chores too well back then.
