Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I feel so sick just thinking about that...I can not believe I used to drink that much....
None of that light beer either- you need the stuff that is 5.9%.
I would wrap the empty bottles in lots of paper towels before throwing them in the trash.
Hmmm started off as a teen with beer and cheap stuff. Moved onto Bacardi in the Navy along with maannyyy cocktails. Sambucca (flamin with 3 coffee beans) was always a favourite, but later just drank the whole bottle straight. Beer at early openers, and also the obligatory tequila shots with the boys on weekends.
When it got serious, the wine became my No1 hit. Many many bottles of it. A member of numerous wine clubs, I had it delivered. Even did a few wine appreciation courses which I excelled at. If I ran out, I'd catch a cab to the bottlo to get more stock. I can recall catching 2 cabs one night. Loved the Sauv Blanc in white and Merlot in red to start with, after 2 bottles, it didn't matter what I drank, as long as it was wine, and lots of it.
I'm grateful for my sobriety.
What's a Zima?
