Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Sometimes i get angry at something when the problem is actually elsewhere.
Or often my anger is a sign of something else, for me it's usually fear.
Also being in a lot of physical pain can make me snappy.
Bob, you're still human. I lose my temper on occasion at work, although it's MUCH less frequently (used to be a daily occurrence!)
When I get irritated at one of my field techs on the phone, I tend to get loud and cuss and I honestly don't mean to and I don't want to do it, it's something that I know I need to work on.
I did it the other day as a matter of fact and I made signs with markers that read "shhhhh....simmer down please...." and gave them to my 2 close friends who sit beside me. lol!
They both made me swear that I wouldn't get pissed if they held them up if I got obnoxious and loud. haha! But I really really don't want to do that and often times, I'm not even aware how loud I am. Hope it helps! ha!
Maybe it was just a reminder that you still have some work to do....I wouldn't worry to much about it. You're aware so therefore you can try not to do it again right? :)
pocketbook, self-esteem, ambition, security, etc...
Then, you can ask yourself why you have such a reliance on the thing in you that was affected.
You might then try to surrender the importance you have on such things.
Inevitably, you may find that you are identified with things of the mind and ego.
You might try to simply become aware of the feeling of these things as they arise in your consciousness.
Notice how they arise, and then slowly pass away. Give them as much importance as you would any other sensation or irritation.
Pray.
Peace.
