If I HAD to chose something then I suppose it would have to be something in computer security. A different type of encryption algorithm that doesn't use a mathematical sliding scale would be pretty kewl. I believe it can be done with light reflected from electrons on an atom in the form of microwave pulses that would make it truly random. However, if I couldn't figure out how to do that then I would be perfectly content fading off into history like my ancestors did.

I would have had a hard time with that before I had kids - now it's easy - would love to be remembered as a great Mom : )

I would want to remembering as a caring and loving person, someone that was able to help others...

Pretty simple, but I want people to have good memories of me when I die...not the old drunken ones...I dont want them to think :oh poor girl", I want them to be able to feel I had a full life and that I accomplish what I was put here for, even if it is for the small things I was able to do for others, and some how make a differnece, if even in one person life...

Yep....before kids I'd say I would have wanted to amass a fortune, and then be remembered for giving it all away. While I still may do that, I just want to be a good mom. I want to pass kindness onto my children.

Hmmm, Dad had alzheimers. It`s always on the back of my mind.

Very thought provoking question, Bob. I want to be remembered as a caring, compassionate, generous, talented, hard-working individual. My children are my legacy. They have all these qualities. I hope they got them from me!

a good daughter, wife, mother, sister, neighbor.

I would like people to smile when remember me. I would them to feel inspired. I would like to be remembered for the positive impact I had on people and for being loving, compassionate, and loyal.

I still have a lot of progress to make.

gorsh...I have in mind that everyone would remember where they are seated when they are finally coming to visit their dead relatives...I am being buried in a memorial bench as ashes inside the granite bench in the front of a country Church cemetery where both my mom's parents and brother are and someday her sister and my uncle will be buried...it is off oddly enough in rural MO road #449 which is in my third edition the portion of the big book that has that Acceptance is the key to life from DR. Acoholic, Addict which is in fourth edition on page #417 I am pretty sure...but has a new name of Acceptance is the key or some such!

so plop your butt on my bench and cry about who ever has passed from this life into His love! that is my desires...that they think who was that guy who put the bench here for us>?

In reading these, I was reminded that I have something in common with all of you and that is, I want to be remembered as someone who made life easier for others. I think that is what step 12 is all about. The more we give of ourselves, the bigger the piece of heaven which comes our way.

I have no kids but I hope my life by example helps someone else.

Being remembered in general is not important to me, i am not here to make an impact on the world. I was blessed with the gift of being a mom. I would like my children to know that I loved them with all my heart, that I did the very best job that i knew how and that i continued to try and grow in my relationship with God each day.

Carebear you have already impacted your world by being a good mom. I am sure your kids and grandkids will have very fond memories of you.
