that's tough stuff to deal with , however, as long as you base your sobriety on someone else's actions , it's not really your sobriety.

So all that has to happen is for him to do everything perfect and you won't drink? Good luck with that one.
The only screwup I see at the moment is basing your sobriety on a lying cheat. If you really want to get sober, you'd be better off looking for a reason that won't fail you every time you turn around. We humans are notorious for that...

Go ahead and get drunk. That will ease the pain. Trouble is if you use alcohol to deal with life's shit it will only work for a while. Then, you will be hooked but it won't make the pain go away anymore. Then you will be in a very scary place. You have a choice now but if you keep drinking, alcohol will remove that choice along with everything else that you have. It's up to you.

I remember my dad use to tell me I drove him to drink. I guess any excuse will do for a drunk.

Been there done that..I was with guy who was cheating and lying almost constantly...I felt like because I'm alcoholic nobody would want me....So I drink and numb my self...Get out fast...I did get out..he was surprised when I never come back...I felt soo much better...I still have slips here and there,but have guy who respect me and wont cheat.get out girl.

You should be celebrating not drinking. You just got some trash out of your life and you're better for it.

Your 14 and shouldn't have access to alcohol let alone out and about sleeping around. You seem well educated, so someone has given you good schooling. Not sure of your current environment, but dosn't seem like it's one where healthy boundaries are set for a kid who wants to grow up before her years.

YAMF, the web is a great tool for support, and can be used as a supplement to help on the homefront, but it can also be a danger to a young girl. We'll support you in your endeavours to get and stay sober, but ultimately, you've got to speak to someone at home.

Where are your Parents? You need help , love and support....I doubt you are going to find it on your own at 14....Boys/ Men are not the reason you drink...you are like me , you like to get drunk and any reason will do.

Relation ships either go one way or the other, either you are happy , accepted, and understood........ Or not ,, and cant be yourself

I don't think you would be a stupid fuck up!! and you shouldn't believe that about yourself. Relationships fail when you are with the wrong person .
