Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

There are lots of methods to stop drinking and using. A good support system helps too. I wish you the best.
I was put on Pristiq for depression which was one of the newer antidepressant medications at the time and it got rid of those feelings of loss and isolation that made me not want to live anymore.
I got rid of the stress by quitting my job since that was where most of my stress was coming from.
That was 8 years ago. Today I am happier now then I have ever been which is a complete reversal to how I felt when I was drinking where I didn't care if I lived or died.
I think if you talk to your doctor about your depression and drinking, he will point you in the right direction..
God Bless
It is a challenge but the reward of not HAVING to drink is a very good feeling. I never did anything for myself and was always trying To always help others but in the end I was a hopeless drunk that basically HAD to drink everyday. I was addicted
To break the chain took some work to figure out what made me drink, learn how to diflect those problems and cope without booze
For me booze was not the problem it was the solution.
Today I have the choice to drink and I choose to stay sober.
It's not easy but it's worth it
