Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Quick journal of night 1 through day 2. Last night could not sleep hardly a wink pretty intense anxiety. I made through the night started with meetings and normal biz work ect. I felt much more productive than LiQ. Still had the shakes less intense than day one but still noticeable. I am past the really scary part far severe anxiety and tremors. I will note I am veteran got back to my temp home my roommate spread rumors that I did drugs. Not right I don't use drugs. So after a intense discussion to cool off. I went to get some coffee and of course still with the shakes it came across my mind one won't hurt. You can just a quick brew to avoid the feeling frustrated and shake. I almost gave in really almost gave then I remembered what I wrote day one here. So I got a refill on my coffee and went to the park got peace of mind that way. As lay here typing now I feel my hands shacky but I do feel like I will sleep tonight. Good night and thanks for reading

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Hope you get some sleep tomorrow.
Huggles, Nikki

You thought about the consequeces of your actions before you did something you knew you would regret! Then you went for a walk in the park. That's amazing that you had the forethought to think that way! You will make it!
God Bless!
Please take care of yourself. And remember one day at a time.
