A quote from a book I've been reading... "People usually view surrender as defeat. On the contrary, it is a clearing of the decks that allows us to make room for all of the positive things that make our lives more satisfying." I guess its the idea of the glass being half full or half empty. Its stuck with me and I've been thinking about that idea today. Thought I'd share it :)

Surrender means to stop fighting. That’s a deep meaning for me when I look at my past behavior of denying myself love. Fighting with myself has only tired me out. Lol. The surrender I seek gets me closer to the connection with a higher conscious. It’s a spiritual word. Glad you are thinking about it.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
