Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

I highly recommend talking to your doctor about in or outpatient treatment.
I will pray for you.
God Bless!
What are you going to do now?
The sickness will pass with plenty of sleep but be careful as people who drink like that can drown in their own vomit. If you are still worried, call the doctor or get to the hospital emergency department.
The bigger issue is that once the memory wears off, you will probably do it all over again and it gets worse each time. Your choices are simple and there is no in-between or grey area. You can continue on the downward spiral that often leads to death of insanity or you can accept the reality that you cannot drink safely. Not drinking means just that and there are no exceptions but the good news is that you need only stay sober for today. Then do the same the next day.
If you find that you cannot do it on your own, please look for help. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are a good option. Dont wait until tomorrow or next week the time to start on your journey to sobriety is now. Good luck.
The only way I could get out of the pit was to ask for a helping hand
I was done

Thank God I don't have live like that any more. And you don't either.
Are you doing anything about your "big problem"?
I don't know if I have the best advice as I am still struggling to stay away from alcohol, but I believe you can either keep drinking (which will end terribly) or pick yourself up and move forward. Get some rest and plenty of water, and some food when you can handle it. Then find some outside help whether it's counseling, aa, etc. We can do this!
I'm concerned about the vomiting. Drinking that much could lead to passing out and the vomit could end up in your lungs. That could very well kill you.
I don't know if you are alcoholic but I bet you know. If you want to find out about how good life sober can be, come hang out with us ne'er do wells, lol. You are welcomed with open arms.
