Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Well done and may you have much more success, a day at a time.

I love finding quotes that are meaningful....
"I've never seen anyone drink themselves smart, successful or happy. Most end up broke, bitter and alone".....
Stay strong and keep your strength. xx
Everyone is capable of failure but not every one can pick himself up and keep going immediately after failure, like you did!
Way to go!!! Keep up the great work of staying clean and sober like you have been doing and still are doing!
I have never had an alcohol addiction but I do have an addiction to opiates that I' have been dealing with for several years now.
Like I mentioned in my previous posts I have been taking Suboxone for 10 years.
My Dr. and I want me to taper off to 2 films per day instead of 3. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Today is my first day I'm focusing on taking only 2 films from now on. I'm going to check in and let you know how I'm doing.
So far so good. I hope I find inner strength to help me through this like you did.
What got me to completely change was when I saw an old friend of mine slowly killing himself with alcohol. He's got some major health problems now and I just couldn't see myself getting trapped in the same direction.
Onto changing my life to a more positive path
