Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

When I saw how dedicated others were to keeping me sober, it was more motivation for me to work harder at it and do everything it took to get past those first few months when my new sobriety was still in a fragile state.
God Bless
I came across a book a few years ago called "Moments of Clarity," a series of essays by people who quit and what their defining moment was. Interesting read.
I am not saying you have to have a big aha in order to quit, but for me, at least, the commitment was huge. The biggest thing I did to quit was to make the decision deep in my gut -- a promise to my soul, that I have never broken.
The cravings go away. Life becomes a gazillion times better. But you gotta stick with it.
