Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Day 2. I still feel a little off but that is not unusual for my day 2. I did get up early this morning to help empty out the barn at the farm museum so I got some exercise which felt good. I went to bed early last night but didnt fall asleep right away, probably because I had slept late recovering from Monday nights activities.
Last night we watched the first of the democratic debates and so I was on the couch watching TV which is one of the routines I wanted to break but I had Ginger Ale and seltzer as opposed to wine and it was nice to watch the debates.
I realized too that it has been more than 9 months since I first committed to stop drinking as I joined the Daily Strength website on 11/3/2014 although I believe I didnt make a real good effort to not drink during the holidays last year.

I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

What I really want to do is join the local volunteer ambulance core but my travel anxiety has prevented me from doing so at the moment. I joined in 2004 shortly after my anxiety started but after I had an anxiety attack in the back of the ambulance I was asked to leave.
