Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I've been doing really good for a little while now. Not sure how long it's been but I think about a month with no drinking. I hate weekend when I don't have to work. Weekend were always my big problem. Laying on the sofa watching TV and drinking. I'm trying so hard to think of things I can do so I can keep my soberness going.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Keeping busy has been the key for me. Yardwork, projects on the house, long walks with my job, a second job on the weekend. I don't have time to feel sorry for myself and start drinking.
Find a hobby, go to a park, go bike riding, so much you could be doing to fill the time.
Congratulations on the one month!!! That's great!!! Keep it up.

Scrap books or framing is 1 idea.
It takes so little to thrill a child, so she will be happy & her parents will know you stayed sober & completed a fun project. Just an idea (sorry if I have the wrong person in mind)
God Bless!
There are lots of solutions beyond AA. But find one.
