Snow?? What in the hell is that???

Hey Ashleeee, We already had some over here in England - in mid-October can you believe?? and it settled! So much for this global warming propaganda eh???!!!

Joe - You never got to make snow angels???? You have been deprived!! Get thee to where the snow is and have thee some fun!! Does Texas not actually get what some of us might call winter??

I'll get over it though....lets see on the positive.....I get to wear those big comfy sweaters....lol....yeah that was an atempt...lol....

There you go serenity....snow angels....I do like it when we get some accumulation, and can go sledding too...Im just a big kid when it comes to that.....I think I can see some positive now...:)

Girl, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have snow every once in a while! We, in Atlanta, haven't had a good snow in over 10 years! If I had a fireplace, I'd have a fire now and it is only about 45 degrees here. Like they say "you can't always get what you want" and "the grass is always greener..."

Enjoy it, curl up on the couch with a blanket and read a book and cook some comfort food. You're from the south, you know what I mean... chili, stew, cornbread, chicken & dumplins, lasagna, vegetable soup, greens, black eyed peas, fried chicken, biscuits and gravy.. I could go on, but I won't... I want snow! :(

Snow.. I think it comes sometimes after a hurrican season, but only in 1989 and let me consult with grammie for time before that. But I bet you are superior in sports like skating...ice hole fishing...(omgosh) I have to laugh at that one. Hockey...Moose roasts (simular to the pig roast of down south but I here they allow guns up there...Sarahs got my back..lol) and snow mobiling, and ...and....trying to think of all cool things you get to do that dos'nt happen here (no frozen ponds)...and Hot Choc. & weenie (not you nodp2day) roasts..... friends also make warm fuzzy winters too. Snow means skiiing! I don't live far from you Ashley, and we had our first flurries Sunday morning. The wind is blowing across the top of the hill that we live on and the horses are wearing their winter coats.

For skiiing purposes, our snow is manmade, but that's okay.

I wish we would get some snow, all we have is fires going on everywhere out here and it's been in the 90's.

Yea, it's been snowing off and on here all day. So far I don't see it sticking to the ground. I hate the snow tho. I want to move where it's warm.

Lucky you....I'm in Pennsylvania and I cannot wait for snow. The last few years weren't very snowy so I hope this year is a BIG snow year. I want storms every week and a huge blizzard with 3 feet!!! I just love the snow.

See what I mean? Those who have snow and cold weather want the warm sun, those who have the warm sun...want snow. Why can't we have a little of each?? Why can't we have both? Maybe because we always want more or something different. Everything to the extreme, that's why we can't have just ONE drink. Just a thought..

Left Chicago in 1981 and swore off snow forever. I'm in HOUSTON baby... better not snow here.

We had some white fluffy stuff on the ground once here. I thought it was that mythical stuff you guys refer to as snow. I picked up some and put it in my mouth. OUCH!!! It tasted burning!!!! Turns out a chemical plant blew up and that was the toxic remnants of it. I would be careful about what you put in your mouth.
