I survived xmas - sober for the first time.
I went to a relapse prevention week prior to xmas.
It taught me alot and has been invaluable.
I am so proud of myself. This is a total of 39 sober days. I cant wait to get beyond 70 days, as that was my first attempt and i had a slip on 70 days.
I really understand myself, the disease and the benifits of using different coping skills.
I am happy.

When i get an urge i talk it out to myself - and look at yes i can choose and have the right to drink, but I also WILL ACCEPT the consequences.
The consequences arent worth it - and sobriety is great. :)
My drinks...but, naw, I'll pass...other ladies drinking,,,,no thank you!!!
Pictures? Get it away!! I moved bottles & glasses in front of the ones drinking!! LOL!!!
