A truck is driving through the bush and through a boggy area it left a deep wheel rut. This rut soon filled up with water. A frog came along and laid some eggs in the water and soon they hatched and the tadpoles lived in the puddle.

These tadpoles grew up in the puddle and as they swam around they could see the sides of the rut and thought the world was just the rut, that this was their whole existence.

Soon the tadpoles started to develop legs and lose their tails but they remained in the rut because they did not know there was a world outside the rut. Eventually the frogs lived in the rut not knowing any better.

One day a kookaburra came along and saw all the frogs living in the rut and he thought here is an easy meal. As the kooka swooped to get the frogs several frogs jumped on top of the the rut and this is when they saw if they get out of the rut there is a big world out there.

The frogs that had gotten out of the rut called to their siblings quick there is more to life than this rut, quick life will be better than the rut. Some of the frogs in the rut joined their siblings and escaped the rut, whilst others who did not, well they died in the rut not knowing of the beauty of the world outside this rut.
