Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Helllo everyone, I wanted to check in and alleveiate my guilt for being so absent. I love being busy but the last few weeks have been a little over the top. Now that the garden is planted I can switch to maintenance of what's growing and breathe. I took on a lot this year and have been putting in about 25 hours a week getting all the plants going. On top of work, classes and volunteer duties I haven't had much down time. Which, to tell the truth, is reallly nice. I do take time to walk and workout and visit with my gf. Not as much as she'd like lately so I'm trying to visit more. My sobriety rubbed off on her as she's come to the conclusion that alcohol is not that great. Healthy is kind of fun. I am LOVING this weather and feel great! Had a twinge of anxiety with the longest day of the year approaching and remembered feeling the same way last year. But the whole summer and New England fall is ahead so I'll enjoy every blessed day. Taking more videos of streams, birds, veggies to play through the winter. If I can figure out how to upload pics I'll post some. Maybe Bob or Shiney can guide me a bit. TTFN

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I am not a gardener...but this year I did plant a fruit tree...nectarine....it has Shep's ashes under it....and is a memorial to him....
you sound pretty busy....sobriety spreading to the girlfriend will hopefully kind of help her and I am sure enjoying it with her is your goal....
