I survived IKE!
I lost power last night around 930 pm ct. It was very dark except for the occasional bolt of lightening or a transformer exploding. We had hurricane force winds starting around 1015pmct. Around 12pm it was roaring and the building was vibrating with each just. I feel asleep during the time the eye of the storm passed over. BTW, no wind, no noise, no rain during the eye. About 3amct the eye wall crossed over head and it was about 3 more hours of very intense wind. There has been no power for the last 11hours. I am waiting for some hot water to take a much needed shower then I am going to get some good sleep.

We are getting Ike right now. Got here sooner than expected. Very windy here. Stuff moving around on my deck. Dog getting mad, wondering what's out there messing with his stuff.lol.
