Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

And I just want to thank everyone for responding to my previous post, and showing me lots of support.
I won't lie, I'm currently intoxicated. But a lot of you touched me, and a part of me desperately wants to seek help. I currently work in the entertainment industry, and am on the verge of experiencing mild success. (I'm starting to garner media exposure.) I've been reluctant to go back to rehab, because of this. However, you all are responsible for pushing me in the right direction to seek help.
I promised a close friend of mine, that if I don't land an important gig coming up, I will be seeking inpatient help. I just wanted to thank all of you for the welcoming support!

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

It's been a breakout year. I bet you can have the career of your dreams and do anything you desire. The world is just waiting for you to make your mark upon it. Cmon
So do you want to land this gig or do you not ? Only you can decide

I got another position in this field for more money! It started well because I was over qualified compared to my peers. All the people around me were fired and was the "last man standing" but others were hired. I didn't get treatment. Within 6 months I got a call and was fired and I was blind-sided, but, later, I had to admit that I deserved to be fired.
I got a third position for even more money! The only difference in the outcome was that I quit before they could fire me!!!!
During the first two jobs I had high goals of starting my own AA group in one of the towns where I was living out of hotels, but only went to meetings without getting involved.
I don't know if you are or not in any self-help at all. You have mentioned only the plan to try another rehab. If you are alcoholic, then you may get the same result that I got but a lot quicker if you aren't involved AT ALL in any self-help.
Good luck.
God Bless!
Rehab. is only one option and many consider it a secondary option.

However, it's currently so bad that I'll just show up to a meeting loaded. The withdrawal is that painful.
