Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Best decision of my life, I've struggled with drinking for over 20 years, I finally found my savior. I have 5 weeks and I look forward to every meeting. I'd go every day if my schedule allowed. The people are amazing. Almost finished the big book and looking forward to 12 steps, 12 promises.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

God Bless!
I am delighted for you, give those12 Steps all you've got and your whole outlook will change.
Today I am wide awake and I can do things that bring me joy and satisfaction. The drinking game holds no appeal whatsoever for me, it was torture trying to control what I never could. I saw this amongst so many AA members, the ones who gave me visible hope and I have enduring friendships with those who helped me one to one.
Well done on 5 weeks and I love your positive attitude.
That is great news and I wish you all the best. There are amazing opportunities ahead and the only limit to what you can achieve is the work you are prepared to put into it.
Congrats on 5 weeks. That's one hell of a lot of time for an alcoholic.
Keep on keepin' on and Welcome!
Hugs,
Dianna
