Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
How is everyone doing? Are you able to manage life well enough where you don't need to drink for some relief? I can say I am good in that area. It is not easy, and my mind can get in the way rather quickly, but ever since I have committed to a reality that AA is my friend and God my solution when dealing with a drinking problem, life has become do-able. In fact life keeps getting more joyous as I continue living it on it's terms, and depending on those who know what to do to be helpful.
What does everyone's week look like, anyone expecting any challenges?

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

In that moment of anger and frustration, would come a ray of light that would seem to flip a switch inside my soul and I would see the root of my problem and it was always something that needed forgiveness...that's all and as I accepted my self or the situation the way it was, I would lose that craving as I felt a peace and a calmness being draped over me like a warm blanket letting me know, "It will be ok"....
No challenges here, just racing to get a few things done around the house before snow comes. I think I'm gonna make it. Only things left to do is change the oil in the snowblower, and add a little more insulation under my house. I started early this year so I think I will easily make it.
God Bless
