Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Came back to let you know today is my 5 year sobriety birthday. I'm pretty exhausted from the work week (Monday and Tuesday) are my weekend. But definitely woke up today, hopped out of bed and have been all smiles.
When I came home last night, I found 20 new seedlings. I will spend my morning in meditation while working with the soil. I will read my daily recovery books at some point. My boyfriend is taking me out for soup and a bun lunch at our local hall. And then we are going to clean up a bit of a mess in my surroundings.
I will drink coffee and tea with honey. May even go buy a latte from the local coffee shop.
I remain grateful that the desire to drink for celebrations has been removed.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I’m working my garden today and tomorrow and it’s meditation for me too.
Decluttering your surroundings with your BF sounds so healthy and real. Tidy home tidy mind:)
Yeah for you!!!!
Thank you to this group for being here all these years. I've had many smiles, laughs, tears and prayers for the people who come here. Here we are, figuring things out, one day at a time.
Keep on keeping on!
~~~Cheers~~~
