Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I feel like I am going bonkers worse than the alcoholic recently he has over stepped the mark. I went to a few AlAnon meetings and cannot accept that he is ill. He must know that he is hurting my feelings. I didn't realise how drunk he was last night until he fell over easily. This morning he was about to leave at 4am going for a walk until I stopped him. I took his key- I know this wasn't a great idea but I have lost control of him. He is out of control drinking, he cannot even be a normal loving bf like normal couples. I am realising that he was drunk when I thought we were having important couple discussions. The whole relationship was a shambles and here I am left to move forward on my own. There is no love between us left not now that I know. I hate him so much for treating me like this.
Now he has gone out goodness knows when he will be back if ever he does. All he can do is sit at his office drinking today and I will not be going to collect him. He can squallow away.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Take care
You are welcome to come here and vent any time! It reminds me of the days when I use to do the same as your significant other!
You helped keep me sober today! Thankyou!
God Bless

He may be aware he is hurting you but the drinking has such a grip on him that only that comes first.
His relationship with alcohol is bigger than him or you. If he finds it within himself to want recovery more than he wants a drink he stands a chance of a normal life. Sadly many never find recovery.
If you continue to go to Al-Anon there is a programme of recovery available for you to help you get on with life and deal with the emotional aftermath.
Best wishes to you.
