He seems to have disappeared into thin air.  He is not replying to anyone's messages neither.  I hope he didn't fall off the wagon.

Hi Bob. Everytime I come to visit I wonder where he is. I miss his well thought out replies to posts, plus, he tries to help everyone who comes to DS Alkie Board.

Paul, if you're out there, you are missed.

I've been on this board since 2008 so don't show up as much as I used to. Maybe he's on vacation. I'm not worried even a little that he has relapsed. That wouldn't even occur to me. Oh well, enough babbling....

Good question.. Looks like he hasn't posted since mid December and miss his words of wisdom and support as well. Hope he's doing well and just taking a break. Drop us a line buddy if you read this!

Gr8 and Kevin, I don't think he relapsed either. He's been sober a little longer then I have and he helped me early on.

The last time he disappeared for an extended period of time, it was because he took a 3 week vacation and neglected to bring his cell phone with him which was his connection to the internet so when he came back, I suggested that, the next time, he let one of us know, that he would be gone for awhile so we wouldn't worry and he said he would, so that's what has me worried. Maybe he just forgot, not sure.

If he does show up again, I will try to get better contact info, if he is willing to share that.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
