I get up early, I stay up late, I sleep like a baby and I'm damn near back down to my fighting weight (5 more lbs). Clothes are hanging on me. Looking forward to selling my house, downsizing and buying a new wardrobe. And on top of that its sunny and 50 in Cincinnati, who could ask for more! WOHOO!!!!!!!

Congratulations! I LOVE the sleep that comes from sobriety. Man do I have years of it to make up for the all nights I passed out.

Yes . . . the sleep thing is amazing. I remember "falling asleep" aka passing out after drinking, only to wake up at 2 AM, and try to get back to actual sleep. Just laying there and laying there. Regretting my choices.

Now I put my head on the pillow, and I am asleep within 5 minutes. And my dreams are okay . . .

It's a good place to be.

Thanks for the uplifting post. Fellow Buckeye here . congrats keep the streak going. A normal sleep pattern is fantastic isn't it. Its Good to hear success stories. Bourbon was my poison, so not dropping weight as quick as quitting beer , but still getting healthier every day. . I Love feeling like I serve a purpose again. Go Bucks

Its a bit of a weird feeling having sprung forward an hour here in the Midwest, but I'm not complaining by any means. It stayed light out until about 7:50PM, bring on the sun!

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
