Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I don't know about me knowing more about this than you. Only you know what's working well now and will work best for you in the future. Perhaps, the best advice, even though you didn't ask for it (lol) is keep your options open. Methods, resources, support structures, and the combinations that I use to stay sober have changed several times over the years.
Great comment...
And at our neighbors house? (best friends) it's bottles and bottles. Last weekend 3 of us YES 3 of us went home to vomit after a big binge night. I was SO mad at myself!! Took ginger and lemon to detox, etc. But I am sick of that loss of control. So today, I joined this support group. My friends would say I'm silly, and they have before when I try to stop......but I don't like it?! I like 2 glasses of wine, or a couple beers on a patio - but if it's a house party - I continually lose control and can't say 'NO". I hate myself for this!!
Best of luck to you.
