Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
So I was like, now what? I went out and wasted good money on a book about how to be a "controlled drinker". Lol... I ended up getting worse trying to control it!
It still was a start to find out I was an alcoholic.
Every little bit of knowledge was a piece of the puzzle for me.
But you will never please everyone. As long as one person finds it helpful thats enough.
Mattress I had a brother who stopped drinking and came along to AA with me for a few meetings until he won his court chase alcohol related and stopped going.
I went around to see him after a month and he said he wasnt drinking, Burt he must have developed a bad cough because there were all these cough mixture bottles around Brondecon (not sure the spelling).
And they contained 8.5 percent alcohol.
The same as most wines.
When they talk about denial and being cunning baffling and powerful. Here was a perfect example. Hes life got a lot, lot worse from there.
But I am not here to talk about anyone else just a quick example where a little knowledge may have helped.
God Bless.
