Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Sorry to hear that you had a rough time, but that is in the past, and you have a bright and sober future ahead of you.
Dont beat yourself up as this is not uncommon for even the strongest of us to fall of the wagon during difficult times.
I too, just went through a horrific divorce and so many times I was really tempted to drink too. If I did not have the extended time of sobriety (I have been sober for 14 1/2 years), i doubt highly that I wouldnt have fallen off the wagon too. I am also on medication, and know that this may help you more then you know.
As for falling off the wagon, as Exjerseygirl said, there is plenty of room back here on the wagon and you are welcomed back with open arms.
Remember, today is a new day, and God gives us a new chance with each new day. Just climb back on and we will hold you to help you stay here.
Dont be afraid to reach out for help since there are VERY few that do this on their own. Very few. Go to AA, talk with friends, be careful not to isolate, and get help through therapists and medications if need be.
I know the pain that a divorce can cause and yes, it does leave us very vulnerable to relapse. So again, be kind to yourself and have a plan for the future to handle the things that trigger you. Remember, you are worth it!!

I was actually sober until after my divorce when I had a slip of a few drinks but I went back to meetings again, and started working on me again.
About 6 months after my divorce, my ex wanted me back again but I didn't go back. I had the emotional strength from the support I got from AA meetings, to say no.
That was 4 years ago. I continue to attend occasional meetings, I live my life by the 12 steps and I have never been happier!
God Bless!
