I've been on bed rest since 3/4. Only times I've been out it's been in a wheel chair to the Dr or to get an MRI. Tomorrow I'm having surgery.


NOTHING feels better than when the doctor asks how many drinks you have per week than saying NO! Every time I felt so proud and accomplished.

I can't even imagine the response a doctor would give to 60 ish drinks a week. LOL!

I hope your surgery goes well. You should feel good about yourself for staying sober -- it is a great accomplishment. Hope you have a fast recovery!

60 ish. I can so relate and actually find this funny. More like 70 fish for me. Lol. I will pray your surgery goes well. Remember to remain strong because its the weak moments we are vernarable

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I am 4 days post op, off the pain killers and yes, I'm still SOBER!

The first quarter of 2014 has been interesting and full of changes. I'm embracing all of these challenges as learning experiences. I'm not going to go into it all here but I have a very different perspective on life now. Something totally shifts in the mind when the body has failed.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
