Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Congratulations....go get a chip!....Oh they don't have another good one until 3 months...so hang on!
Congrats and keep going.

Honestly, my 1st year sober...I was really bewildered and expected to see the whole police force at my anniversary to give me kudos.
That's when I learned that the accomplishment of me being sober...was really for ME...not for the community. I did also what 1is2many says...I got a chip every time I went to an AA meeting.
For me...it was like say F-U to alcohol.
So...at your 1 year...there will be no ponies...there may be balloons thou :) and close family and friends that are so very grateful you have remained sober...One day at a time. Keep going :)
You should be proud and keep going. It gets soooo much better

Why don't you go out and buy yourself something nice, something that makes you happy. Clothes, jewelry?
...that $ you spent getting f'ed up, you can now reward yourself with whatever...
