Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Are you trying to abstain completely or just cut back? Just wondering.

im tired of this freaking rollercoaster
ill let ya know if it helps
It honestly just pissed me off and I would say f it and drink like I did. Lots. Stupor. Fool.
I got tired of the merry go round of drink remorse, guilt, shame, quit, drink remorse shame guilt. drink remorse shame guiltdrink remorse shame guiltdrink remorse shame guiltdrink remorse shame guilt.
Normal drinkers have 1-2 and get sleepy ... decide to stop. I normally had 1-2 in the shower getting ready.

To be honest I also wanted a magic bullet back in 2012 I went to the doctor he prescribed a prescription for some naltrexone and then after that didn’t work I ask for a prescription for antiabuse
After about seven years now, I have seen hundreds of people come and go through the room that I got Sommer and The One percent that make it, realize the reason that they were drinking was because of a reaction to alcohol that normal people don’t have. It sounds simple but if you can distance yourself from the bottle and then find an alcoholic who can show you The way to handle life without a crutch then you can go back to living life and attending parties where people are losing... boozing.
Alcohol IS a drug. Very powerful. Very addictive.
