Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. I realize this was not the intent. But a recent thread was apparently fine as long as one member was bashing another for "stalking"
But when it became apparent that there was another side to the story, which really shouldn't have shocked anyone, and members called the original poster on that , suddenly many called once again for censorship. It gives the appearance, at least a little, than man bashing is OK, but defending one is not. I know that wasn't the intent but if the original accusations were acceptable, so were the accusations against the poster. How can that not be the case??

They both were wrong and that's all I'll say about that but it was getting completely ridiculous with the he said/she said crap and it was not appropriate for this forum in my opinion.
They were having a very personal conversation out in the open for everyone to read and that has no place on an alcoholism forum period.
Now get over it dude and move on with your life..in the grand scheme of things, does it really affect you personally? Are you still going to be thinking about this tomorrow? I mean come on! Seriously man....

Whats up with that? Personally I think its clear some just like controversy.
Just a thought, maybe we should concentrate on what this support group is all about.

I felt I had to point out that this looked very bad. If airing personal dirty laundry is disapproved of the thread should of been closed from the start.
That's the layout that led to my comments.
However, in re-reading it I did note that discussion of posting e-mails began before the additional request to close occured. Which is admittedly creepy, yet still they're adults.
