Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Self-hatred is a surefire way to be unhappy in your own skin--and that's never good.
I like it. I just don't like what comes with it. It poisons my mind, my body and my life. So that is four and a half days now in a row.
All I want to do tonight is curl up with a bottle, it is Friday night after all. I hope I won't.
Please don't feel bad. You are not alone.
LOL! Your chip(s) & beer in the pocket story, is priceless! OMG!
As many have said before me, don't hate yourself, just remember to keep trying and, if you attend AA, then maybe you need to go to a meeting. If not, maybe it's time to give them a chance to give you the support that is so important in early recovery. I was never able to go it alone, and until I realized that, I kept on drinking and hating myself for it. It's a vicious circle!
Don't beat yourself up, girlfriend, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I'm pulling for you!
BG.
Now you feel very guilty and your subconscious is telling you your a loser and the only way to fix this is to drink again. That will make it allright. I mean wht the heck you already drank why not put off sobriety for another day.
You must get honest. You must take action prior to taking the first drink.
