Another sober day

I woke up about an hour ago. Its just been one thing after another. But, I am thankful to be sober today. I'm trying to change my thinking and trying to stay positive. So instead of focusing on all the bad, I'm trying to stay focused on the good. At the moment, I can't make it to any meetings. This place has helped me a lot and I'm so thankful that it exists. Hope everyone has a good Monday!

keep up the good work. The book of Alcoholics Anonymous was written for people that couldnt make a meeting, if you are interested you can find it on amazon or ebay or im me your addy and I will send you a copy free. I couldnt learn what I didnt know, like trying to lift myself up by my bootstraps. I can try but it is just impossible. The key is learning to cope and handle life, because it happens and it keeps happening and until there is a new way of thinking the drink will still sound like a good idea. Prayers

our gratitude for sobriety is hard to explain to someone who hasn't been down our path. but we get it. it's like being a child and waking up to Christmas every morning and getting the present you always wanted. so happy for your continued success!

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
