Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

My experience is that when I drink I cant control how much, and that on my own power I cannot not drink for any significant period of time. When drinking my life becomes completely out of control and I become totally disconnected from everything except alcohol.
Whether that is then termed a disease or not doesnt really bother me. I know from my experience what the problem is and most importantly I have found a solution to it.
So, disease or not......I say keep thinking.....nothing wrong with that. No matter which side of the fence you land on, it can be incorporated in your personal program for recovery.
All I care is by any definition it kills
I got way too much other stuff taking up my brain space, and I would rather study/practice and put my time into things I really think can help me.
Different strokes for different folks. Nope it does not matter to me at the moment.
