i have found....a rule of thumb......judge self and methods before judging others and theirs.

Of course, there are many more types of alcoholics, all of us fall into one category or another and that is what makes up the mosaic structure of any group.

In Step 10 it states that we cease have ceased fighting anyone and anything-even alcohol. If tghis is the true AA mantra that we come to live by it means that we look for understanding in things and avoid blame at all costs. We need to live in reality and nearer to our Higher Power as a result.

I agree with what you are saying about attract rather than promote. It is very important that we speak civilly to the new person. They need help, not criticism... That is unless they are trying to be a-holes.
