Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Are you doing anything different this time around? I remember trying hundreds of times to quit on my own but I just couldn't do it. I always relapsed for reasons I did not understand until I went through outpatient treatment and was treated for the underlying issues that predisposed me to addiction.
That was 7 plus years ago. Today, I maintain my sobriety with the help of God and the 12 steps and fellowship of alcoholics anonymous.
I admire anyone who can quit on their own because it is something I wasn't able to do. I had the will power to finish running a marathon once (Boston 100th in 1996) but I did not have the willpower to stay sober! That's how difficult it was for me!.
May God be with you on your road to sobriety and help you along the way!
God Bless!
Good luck.
People who succeed often make their own luck. It usually involves a bit of hard graft and taking a chance on doing things that they are not always comfortable with.
Are you going to make your own luck?
What are you going to do differently this time?
You can do this. You can make your own luck.
You must be determined and your greatest aid will be an open mind.
Be prepared to embrace things that you would have ruled out before and you will walk to freedom.
