There has been a little stress around here lately so I thought I would ask an off topic question.

What is the most expensive coffee in the world and have you ever drank any?

I don't think you will find it at an AA meeting.

About 25 years ago I took a woman out for coffee. I ended up marrying that woman and I have been paying for the coffee ever since

Kona Peaberry Coffee, Volcanica Grand Reserve $69 a pound. Giving up alcohol gave me the money to make several trip to Hawaii.

The best coffee that i ever drank was Vietnamese Coffee. It cost me $1 a cup over there.

You Brits should know this because they sell alot of it in your neck of the woods....from what I hear, that is.


There was one I paid $50 a pound for at this coffee shop once. It came from Jamaica and was grown on a certain mountain at a certain altitude and was very good tasting coffee. However, it's not the most expensive.

I don't know but I do know I got Gevalia blends in the mail for 6 or 8 years and late in the year i'd pay 46 bucks a pound for a coffee from small island and man was it heaven! Folgers Black silk is my blend now and you cant beat the flavor for the price:)

Mountain Blue Jamaican coffee. Years ago it was $35 for 8 ounces. I had family visiting Jamaica and would get them to bring it back to me. If I bought it here in the USA, well, couldn't afford it. Maybe only as an a very occasional treat.

I have never had any but it is on my bucket list.Imper.

I think most coffee is good as long as it is fresh which is why I usually bring my own coffee into AA meetings.

I thought about trying it, but after I read that SARS was caused by contracting a civet virus from eating its meat, I decided that I am not going to take any chances, although is roasted and that should kill any virus.

I just had a nice cup of Kauai coffee that I purchased at Costco. I drink my coffee black and taste is important to me. Yesterday I tried McDonald's coffee. It was better than Starbucks.

I feel left out because I hate coffee, I only ever drank it with whisky in to disguise the taste.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
