Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I think a visit to your doctor to get treated for those things may make it easier to quit drinking. Don't forget to mention your drinking to your doctor also because it makes a huge difference in how you get treated for the other things.
God Bless!
I am also her trying to build a support system. I cannot offer words of wisdom but I can offer support and many many hugs and prayers!

Maybe an addiction to alcohol is predisposing you to depression and anxiety?
This is a very supportive group so I'm sure you will find it very helpful in your journey.

Good Luck!
Seek AA for help with your drinking.
I live by the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Almost every story relates to me, even the ones about a lesbian indian prostitute.
We all have been there... ashamed, tired, sad, and disappointed in ourselves that we let our loved ones down, and failed ourselves.
There is hope. Best of luck.
Wishing you success in yours!
In my case, anyway, it was nothing more than a physiological symptom of withdrawal - even though I'm your run of the mill functional alcoholic. Am unfortunately right back where I started today both with alcohol and anxiety, but am planning to get back on track this week. Good luck.
Can you tell us why you think you started drinking alcohol again after 6 years of sobriety?
