Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

At day one you need to do the one day at a time thing again. It takes about 14 days to get over that physical dependency. Good luck. You did it before. You can do it again.
Keep moving forward.
So I went through an IOP (Intensive outpatient program) where I learned coping skills and was treated for some things that predisposed me to addiction such as ptsd and depression. From there, I went through 3 months of relapse prevention group counseling where I learned what my triggers were and how to deal with them.
Throughout all the treatment I had, attendance at AA meetings was a requirement.
That was 7 years ago. Today, I still attend occasional meetings, I live my life by the 12 steps and I have never been happier!
God Bless!
